The power outputs of normally aspirated petrol engines hasn't changed an awful lot, unlike turbo charged engines, especially diesels.

Your XC60 (I assume T5 because it has circa 250bhp) is turbo...

Sounds similar to our MK1 2001 Yaris - now in its 22nd year and ours for 18 if them. Still going strong - don't think it's ever failed an MOT (yet). An amazing vehicle in that sense.

Each to their own - as I made clear it is *my* opinion and *my* view and as I also made very clear, it's the buyer's money and their choice. Just one that still baffles me.

One of the new world's mysteries for me - why on earth would anyone pay to have their car look as if it's still in primer, with no topcoat? You pays your money.....:ambivalence:

SJ got it first - I'm fairly sure it's a mid 2000's Toyota Highlander. Lovely condition vehicle BTW and a model that I think probably would've done well in the UK (had Toyota officially imported it!)...

I had one of those nearly 30 years ago in dark Grey. The NA 2.0 16v engine was sweet and produced about 160bhp from memory and it handled very well too. Pop-up headlamps - well what can you say :-)

Thanks but I'll pass - the autos ("powershift") on that era of Fords don't have a very good reputation, so unless it's a old fashioned torque converter auto, I'd rather stick with manual. Cheers.
