I really like the improvements they’ve made to the line but the grey SPB143 and the LE SPB149 were better looking, IMO.

Frankly, I’d rather have the swatch fifty fathoms and keep a grand in my pocket

Neither look good to me but if I was in the market, as others ave said, I’d get a used zenith defy at the same price as the CW and pocket the change

Tasty. I’m not sure I can do a 7750/7753 again, it’s just so thick! I’ve seen a couple of sellita clones with a handwind modification. This is the way forward as far as I’m concerned

Lots coming out now, the Portuguese secular calendar is the highlight so far. It’s squarely in the out of reach camp though.

Tag have released some pretty awful looking chronos too. The panda...

Wow, I didn’t realise they were that much. I know the quality is meant to be excellent but that’s punchy for a field watch

I know it won’t be to everyone’s (anyone’s?) taste but I really like this! €3.5k is pretty punchy though.

I agree. What I meant was that the newer coaxial movements are a bit thick, not that they’re thick because they have a coaxial escapement.

For reference the 8500 is 5.5mm and the 2894 is 3.6mm....

All modern omegas are a bit thick, I imagine it’s the coaxial movements.
If Sinn can make a 500m dive watch at 11mm, I can’t see why Omega couldn’t slim down the PO.

Agreed. £3k is not bad for a COSC certified exclusive movement in a 300m diver, from a storied brand. Nice looking and whilst the compressor -style diver is some what ubiquitous, I struggle to think...

    If it helps:

It’s a dress chronograph dial with a bloody irksome, ugly date window. No thought has been given to the copy and paste case which has been taken from their other models with massive...

    ‘but it’s too expensive’.

Nice watch that Fortis, but crazy price. I’d rather have a Carrera glassbox, or a bb chrono, or two EZM13s.

Errr, sorry EoS but that’s a minger. Unless you’re looking for a Jamaica tribute watch, in which case it’s perfect.

I had the same reaction. £3450 is a little more reasonable but it’s still a bit much for an Oris with an SW500. Not sure 100m qualifies as a dive chronograph. Chrono skin diver?

This seems like an absolute Billy Bargain at £745 RRP. I’m sure they’ll be available for £600-£650 before too long....
