Not really leaked, in the javascript of the 'program' and are still there.
Hard mode guesswork, normal mode logic.
Don't think the other word was the NYT one and the list already looks pretty mainstream TBH.
Think the solutions have always been mainstream words. There's a second, more comprehensive, set which attempts are checked against. They (and future answers) can all be found on our PCs!
Noticed today CHINK isn't accepted as a word.
Obviously can be a racial slur but not what comes first to my mind. Maybe different in US.
