Nice watch that. Can you tell me a bit more about it?
my Sewills Clipper Chronometer. It's all part of my attempt to find a watch size that I'm comfortable wearing. I've been wearing a 34mm Hamilton for the last few weeks and it feels fine but I have some difficulty with reading the date. So the Sewills is a 36mm watch. If that doesn't work I'll try a 38mm watch.
The rather nice box.
The watch and COSC certificate.
Close up of the face.

What would you like to know. I bought it direct from Sewills in 2000 for about £650.00. It has a 36mm face, not including the crown and is about 9mm thick. It's not waterproof which is the reason I stopped wearing it as I now work at sea. From what I remember it's fairly accurate, although I never checked it against the timing values in the COSC certificate.
If you want to know anything else just let me know.
Maybe now that Eddie owns the Sewills name he can do a copy of it.
Presumably now Eddie owns the name he also owns the design rights so if he does make one it'll be a re-issue or an update rather than a copy!

Nice watch! :)
I'll be wearing my RLT64:
I am going to Cornwall for a class reunion; no need for minute hands in Cornwall.
I very much doubt it. It's the kind of watch CW would make. :POriginally Posted by wycni8
