Just got one on the way from California. Are they numbered on the case back or a cert? I don't see a number on the TF photos.
Thanks

Thanks for keeping it in good nick for me ;) I'll look after it... I have to part with your leather NATO though, it only just goes round my wrist let alone through the buckle :(
Your post here solidifies it's history though. I dare say it may not get much wrist time with myself either, it's just too nice to risk wearing!!! Although Jim's on his stainless bracelets does look the part
Cheers

#79 has been sold, and since resold. No idea of its location now.
Hi All,
Number 249 has a new owner, me, and I am very pleased with it. Its safely on the wrist in Warrington, Cheshire.
If I knew how to post pics I would. Must learn how to do this soon!!
Cheers,
I have had two of these now, think it's time for a third.
Came across this and am a little confused. Are these a limited edition/number?
They are still on sale so does that mean that numbers will continue past 329 as shown on the first page ?
#007 has moved to Copenhagen, Denmark.
thx to previous owner for taking good care of it. It is in great nick and you won't find it on any SC within the next many years, just can't see myself being tired of this watch.
416 lives with me in the north...
435 Lives in the Rother Valley, West Sussex. Really pleased with it, pictures don't do them but will take one soon :)

Number 053 has been with me just outside Buckingham for the last 18 months or so. Gutted at the moment because I dropped it and now it needs to go away to get fixed (the timekeeping is severely shot). Missing wearing it.

It’s probably answered previously in this thread, but just in case anyone knows off the top of their head...
When did the movement change to the 2824? I had it in my head it was after the first 200, but read an online review of the watch which stated it was after the first 500.
Cheers all,
Josh
Yeah, good point to refresh...
In the first post here, I have it stated that it was after the first "500" that the change to 2824 happened.
You can also find references to that "500" figure here:
https://www.speedychronos.com/post/2...made-for-abuse
What some people could find confusing is that I am pretty sure "In the beginning" there was only 200 old stock 2783...
Then iirc, Eddie found +300 additional old stock 2783 before switching to the 2824... so a total of 500 ETA 2783 watches were produced.
You will find at least one article or two online that refers to "200" ... because they were written in that intervening period
PRS-82 serial numbers seem to be
YY MM #### (the first # is always 0)
YY MM ### (no leading 0 ~ only happened in 2016?)
where:
YY MM seems to be date of production.
Thus original release (2013) watches are like:
1307####
whereas say watches released in say 2017 would be like:
1704####
I have noticed one watch online that the seller said was from 2016, where the serial number is only ### digits.
so perhaps Eddie dropped the leading 0 in that batch, ... but it was back again on the 2017 release.
e.g. 1601457
We haven't been tracking the full serial numbers here, just the #### part, so I am not sure which serial number was the last 2783 and which was the first 2824. It seems like the latest production year might have been "17" ...? So it will probably have been either 16mm500 or maybe 17mm0500
e.g. #535 was a 17 04 based on what I see from WatchPatrol, and it is one of the latest ones recorded here. Not sure if anyone has a more recent production date,
Also not sure how many different batches were produced to date:
e.g. I know of these ones:
1307....
1405...
? was there a 2015 release?
1601...
1704....
It's also interesting how many of the watches seem to have been 2783's... we are only up to 540 on the owners list, which suggests only 40+ or so are 2824 ???
449 is in the Netherlands on a yorkshire mans wrist. Use it as an everyday watch since i owned it, and still love it.
Haha, I guess I’ll have to open it up and take a look!
Thanks Eddie,
Cheers.
Number 332 now resides in Fleet, Hampshire

Just tried to place an order but refused. :'(
Will try again soon.
"Closure
It's been necessary to close ordering once again due to the very high volume of orders received over the last 24 hours. To give you an idea of the volume, I've received as many orders in 24 hours as I was receiving in 2 weeks last year. I expect to re-open next week.
Apologies for any frustration this may cause.
