These two are probably all the watches I will ever need.
A new arrival, the 7549-7010 vintage Tuna.
Thanks Mario, Shalako & lewie!
Also just recently added another Tuna to the fold, SBBN035.
And a JDM 7C43-7010 that just arrived,
New SKX011J on Eddies Deluxe Nato, made for each other.
Love a bit of Orange^^^ Might have to go get my Sumo out!
The Seiko collection advances some more: this one a 1974 LM Special with a whiff of the hi-beat about it – a Daini-built 5206 28,800 bph model (I think) that's aged well besides mild dial discolouration. It came with its original part-beads-of-rice steel bracelet but I've switched for the tropical NATO as it fits better. Can't stop wearing it.
I still have this one
Got this skx earlier in the week and think I've found my favourite format so far. I went straight for the expensive Swiss stuff and completely overlooked these before but it's seriously impressive for the money!
why did you take the bezel off? at first I thought it was a new model.
where does the strap come from as well?
I just really like the look of it with the bezel off, the gmt with no bezel in apocalypse now stuck with me for some reason.
Yep it's watch gecko. My speedy has a bulang one on, which is a much finer leather but is prone to stretch and this one for 1/3 the price seems great value.

Strap is https://www.watchgecko.com/geckota-h...atch-strap.php - sorry should have added that before

There is also a smooth bezel option available if you like the look:

does this count?
it has a Seiko quartz movement
SARB033
SKX009J
Lord Matic Special:
7548-8000:
Early 9F Grand Seiko:
Paul
This was bought on the basis of being for "spares or repair", but other than running a little slow it doesn't seem to have too much wrong with it:
My wife got me a SKX009 for Christmas and while I really like the watch, I have never got on with the stock rubber strap.
That all changed today when I changed it for a Bonetto Cinturini ZuluDiver 284 - lovely soft rubber and much more comfortable to wear
Think I might need to get a few more Seiko divers now..
