Sex Tape, an absolute confirmation that sometimes a trailer has all the best bits, in fact the two minutes of the trailer were the ONLY funny scenes in the film the rest was total crap, after around 45 mins we left, it really is that bad.
Snitch with Dwayne Johnson, terrible terrible film.
Second Anchorman 2 also,I'm think they tried too hard.
I fell asleep watching Rio 2 with the kids. Horrible.

The Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise (when was the last time you watched him in a GOOD movie?) and Emily Blunt.
Despite the 8.0 on IMDB, I think it's not a good movie. The theme: 'Saving Private Ryan meets Groundhog Day' or better: 'Saving Private Ryan meets The Source Code' is not original and the plot is very thin (to say the least...). Two hours of my life I won't get back.

Hunger Games mockingjay part 1 - a glorified trailer for the last film, took so long to get going must have looked at my watch half a dozen times, maybe 10 minutes of actual interest in the two hours running time, a classic case of ripping off the viewing public to make more money rather than just making one 2.5 hour film and covering it al, in one go. I would recommend not bothering to go and watch it now, get it on DVD a week before part two comes out and save yourself the grief (and cost) of seeing at the cinema now.

Interstellar (just got back from the flicks) is not totally rubbish but it is too long and too slow. It reminded me of 2001 A Space Odyssey which was, however, far more convincing and believable at showing the inside of a spaceship (especially the Pan Am Clipper docking), despite nearly 50 years of advances in special effects. I saw the new hunger games at the weekend with my kids - nothing really happened and what's all this 'Jennifer Lawrence great actress/isn't she gorgeous' nonsense? - one of those performances dialled in whilst she counted the pay check. Mind you having watched battle royale years ago I wonder how they get away with ripping off the whole plot!
I was actually pleasantly surprised by this. I've read the book, and it is not as good as the first two, and then read a few reviews on IMDB where people said it was slow, so was expecting the worst, but I enjoyed it, possibly more than the first two.
I didn't find it slow at all.
But I agree regarding Jennifer Lawrence, I don't think she is a good actress, (quite annoying actually), and does nothing for me physically.

It's no spoiler to say most of the drama takes place aboard an aircraft... but is a Boeing or Airbus? Single aisle or twin? No auto-pilot yet Nic Cage can leave the flight deck unattended...
That's before the drama school acting, and the ridiculous quasi religious plot...
The Inbetweeners Movie. Utter shite. Complete bollocks and totally unfunny. I love a good childish howl of a film like Kevin and Perry or Dumb ad Dumber but this was just pish as my Scottish mates would say.
Paranormal activity, the marked ones. It's almost like the director has thought "Now that first film was pretty good, how can I now systematically destroy my reputation as a half decent film director?"
Another vote for interstellar here.

His early work like Raising Arizona had something and I´m a sucker for Con Air, but that´s probably as much to do with the ensemble cast as Cage and of course we can´t forget the Rock, or perhaps we should...

I get it it's a comedy, it's on the dumb side of things, but does it really need to be that dumb that I can feel my IQ dropping? Worst movie I have seen in a long time.

Sometimes these old '30's super hero films can be done pretty well but this was just a fat comedian with a never ending series of explosions and machine gun firing.

I enjoyed both of those, taking them for what they were.
The Equalizer was not supposed to be a remake and TBH I didn't really see the point of the connection to the TV series at all. As you say there was not one.

Watched that the other day, purely for the randomness of the name and subject matter. A dire low budget horror film. But sometimes it works! Not high quality, barely registering on the scale of 1 to 10 as Cirrus mentioned. But if you are that type, or in that sort of mood it was a way to pass the time. (Certainly beat wandering around Chisinau on my own while I was there last week...)
The Sweeney, the Ray Winston remake, on C4 last night.

Completely agree^^ The same can be send for the recent Equalizer remake, I mean FFS, the only reference to the original 80's TV show was Washington's name, Robert McCall.

As it is, however, it's pants.
I was thinking Die Hard all through it, it wasn't so bad once you've accepted that but the last few minutes of fist pumping 'go America!' Went too far IMO.
Worst film of 2014 for me was Gravity, without a doubt the most predictable and flat storyline. Watching paint dry, in space.
- Gravity is one of my favourite films - especially for the sound experience.

The Guest, I watched this last night, tbh it wasn't all bad, but the ending was like a bad 80's horror movie.
