Very nice Ryan. Is the datewheel black or blue out of interest?

Hi. It's black. It's not really noticeable but would have preferred blue

Stunning watch Ryan, still waiting to see one at my AD.

This will probably be my shortest incoming. Lovely old 168.019 calibre 751 Constellation but in the 3 hours since it has arrived it has lost nearly 15 minutes, so back to the seller. Doubt he will offer to re-service, despite being freshly done, so will probably just end up with a refund and a new search beginning!

Aside from anything else, these C-shaped cases need to have the original bevels and other detail present to look good on the wrist. I love these linen dials but I think you are wise to return it. There are still good ones out there.

A bank holiday arrival a triple 6 SeaDweller. Quite an interesting piece being the first steel Rolex with solid end links and the first SeaDweller with a sapphire. Didn't last long on the bracelet as it feels so right on a Nato.

Have I shown you what I bought before Christmas?
After selling my MHD/Seiko and the Zeno Explorer I get this

    The finish is awesome.
The 42mm of the case are not to big for my little wrist (17,5cm), thanks to the short lugs.
The watch is very comfortable on the wrist.
    Bracelet is high quality.
I love this watch. It has an history and one of the founding father had the same name has me. 2 good reasons of having one. But...
The movement is a Sellita 200. Goes forward 15sec a day. A bit to much, but was regular. Till last week. Now the watch stops every 2 nights. I have to send it back to the factory.
It's the third Swiss watch I bought in the last 3 years. All have to return to factory from the first day. If they don't fix it properly it would be my last Swiss watch. Or I'll buy a used Rolex.

I picked this up for very little from eBay at the beginning of the year. It was missing a balance - I fancied a bit of a project.

Here it is up and running. I am waiting for Carl at GGB to take orders again and will get a Horween strap for it.

I know the relume on the hands will make some cringe but I rather like the contrast.

I am counting this as a new arrival. I've had it for 25+ years but wearing it for the first time in 22 years, and I am irrationally pleased*, so forgive me.

*I put a thread in Mods and Wreckers if you really want to know why; it's less interesting than some of the recent restoration threads.

Definately on the strap, I wouldn't keep the bracelet on it. You should sell the bracelet to me immediately so I can, um, dispose of it. (By putting it on my Monaco where it will look awesome) ;)

Was testing out an eBay snipe tool a week or so ago. It worked so this little Mido arrived today. Will need some love, but quite pleased with it. 18mm mesh on 19mm lugs for now

    A. Schild movement inside with the date quickset by pushing the crown. A new one for me.

I bought this watch last year from the first owner, i was quite ill at the time and flipped it quickly as my mind was elsewhere.

Its had a few owners since then but less than a year later it is back with me..

Bought an Orient day date automatic off Tim (Tim63). It has an amazing dial that shimmers and changes colour in strong light. It is difficult to capture on a photo, but I took the watch outside in the sunshine and managed to capture a little of it. Superb build quality and a lovely looking watch. Exceptional value for money.

I can't remember how to do pics on here, but achieved a personal Grail at the weekend.
I traded my '69 oyster date for a newer '10 explorer (still 36mm).
I know the steel isn't quite as nice, but I was always worried about the old one so had stopped wearing it.
Really loving the black face. And not having to faff with the date :)

This is my most recent acquisition. A very rare Urwerk 103 in great condition. It was the first watch Urwerk ever made, long before they had any CNC machines, so a lot of it was made by hand. Only 50 or so was produced :)

I just received this a couple of days ago. Swapped the leather it came on for one of Eddie's two piece natos with deployant.

My youngest son (7) has got the same watch (the smaller one, not the scuba dude), it's a cracking little watch. He's even got a couple of different natos he wears it on.

So I sent a very sorry looking Tissot off for repair to the UK Service Centre.
They decided to send me a brand new one instead at a greatly reduced price.

    Incoming tomorrow

Picked a couple of pieces up last week while trawling ebay, didn't pay a fortune so pretty happy really i was looking at the sicura jump hour watches but I didn't really want to pay there prices, anyway I picked this up ,it had no strap and this is the only one I had to fit it,a bit of a struggle getting it on as the bars need to be bent and the nato was a little thick,I'll have to see what it should be on,next up memostar alarm watch in great order and fully working ,now I can't upload a pic
