apologies I've been trying to work out how to upload pics from a phone for 4 years and still can't do it even though I've changed from Samsung to IPhone.

    This arrived today -

The picture does it no justice, it's an AMAZING watch, cosmetically and internally.

    Very pleased with it. :)

Over the past 6 months, I have been revamping my collection.
    Here's the last 4 grabs.

1st one is a CWC diver, my poor man's Omega 300m military Seamaster.

Next's a Zenith El Primero A385. The faded dial made me do it!

Followed by this Japan edition Speedmaster Reduced.

Finally, a 105.002 Omega Speedy. Did not even know that such a model existed but once I saw it.. the applied logo, the starting to turn brown dial, the 'big' crown, the silver rehaut, the smaller case size.. and of the course the beautiful 321 movement. Did not fancy its telemeter bezel that came with it, so had the light blue/grey bezel fitted instead!

Just picked this little chap up.
Actually not so little at 42mm and chunky with it.
A bit tired of autos so happy to find a quality quartz with a GMT to boot.

Just bought this as a cheap office watch. Decent quality for £149 and the crystal can be polished (Unlike my old Max Bill).

Bloody hell, Steve! That's uglier than most of the female darts players at the Lakeside.

I got a great deal on this from my local AD yesterday, unfortunately I didn't get on with the stock strap so I have put on a Hirsch strap that I had in my draw:

Purchased yesterday to replace my old SO44, the new SuperOcean II 44. Absolutely stunning piece IMO, and quite an improvement over the old one, complete with BEZEL PIP.

    Cheers.

I have had this one for a few days now, but thought it worth a share as it's a little different.

I am no photographer so apologies for the dust and rubbish lighting!

It is a French made Akrone K-01
    9015 Miyota
    40mm case (matt black ceramic)
    Sapphire crystal
    DLC crown

Very interesting swap indeed. All 4 watches are in my most desirable category but I think I'd have done it the other way round. Having said that I've had 5 orange PO's so far........

    Lovely watches all of them.

Those are lovely. One of my favorite dive watches of all time.
If someone doesn't like them, they are sucked it from one He Valve and spat out from the other one.

Gerlach 'Seikosha Tokkotai', a replica of the WWII Seikosha Divine wind Kamikaze pilots watch.

Tokkatai means to leave, and never return in Japanese.

The watch contains a Seiko NH35 auto, hackable movement. These were made for the Spanish 'Para Club Okies Seiko' in a limited edition of 150 . Mine is 36/150.

January 1985 6309-7040. Only the insert and crystal (correct replacement) aren't original.

Been fully stripped, serviced and pressure tested by The Seiko Yoda. The DAL1BP arrived from Seiya at the same time - this is as close to the original strap the watch had when new as you can get.

Duncan reports it's running at around +2spd.

There's just something about these that keeps me coming back to them.

Just back from Singapore where I happened to come across a Baby Tuna... seen photos of them plenty times but never seen one in the metal before and really wasn't on my radar.
Thought I may as well try it on and before I knew it my cash was somehow on their counter.

I really missed not having a scuba dude in my collection, so I received this yesterday:

And the first thing I did, as always, was removing the bracelet and adding a leather strap:

I actually quite like it. The strap isn't great quality but I'm sure I've probably got a suitable nato for it somewhere!

    Very nice John!

How do you find it compared to the vintage Daytonas?

    All the best,

P.S. Don't forget to screw those pushers in properly...!
