    Looking for a classic model.

Thought I'd post this question for all you GShock experts, looking to purchase a classic square shaped 56xx series but am totally confused as there's so many models.
I would like the normal display, not negative type and to be able to fit a bracelet in future.Years ago I seem to remember the 5600, is solar and atomic the way to go now?
    Thanks.

You want a gwm 5610 - solar atomic 'normal' display - and you can easily fit the composite bracelet. All round the best everyday model - slim and discrete but tough and doesn't lack any feature you're likely to want.

Thanks for this post. Just picked up my first G-shock, a GW-M5610. I've been eyeing up a classic square cased one for a while. Clicked through your link and noticed there was a 20% off code available at the moment, which sealed the deal!

Unfortunately I got stung by customs buying this but it was worth it to have the Carbon Fiber strap.

All these frogs are making me want to try one though!

Overlooked it Chris. Huge congrats on your 2 new arrivals. Getting the vintage Seaman NOS is simply awesome. Pretty rare bird and the pristine condition is the icing on the cake. Ranger an excellent choice as well. Old meets new. Well done :-)

Thanks Tom! The Frogman is remarkably comfortable on the wrist too for being quite a large watch!
Oh dear, I fear G-Shocks may be addictive!

I have to operate a strict 'one in, one out' policy for G-Shocks or things would get out of hand. Topics like this don't help either.

This one is about to be boxed up and posted. In fact, I guess it's not mine any longer as I received payment about an hour ago.

My wallet has been saved by the lack of atomic / wave ceptor on this one. It was damn close though, phew. Looks fantastic, enjoy it. Such a great colour combo.

Quite possibly my next G-Shock purchase.

I love how the countdown timer has the hands count down backwards, nice touch!

It's the Gulfmaster, lovely blue fixed bezel is a nice contrast.

It is lovely. I see there is a black bezel version as well.

The specs say it is 44mm in diameter which is quite modest in G-Shock terms. How does it wear?
