I estimate it at something like 50
And I havent been here that long.................
At least 20-30 a year. All sold with a loss. Sickening, so I try not to think about it...
1. Just 1 and that is because my niece took a shine to it and I gifted it to her.
I think I'm easily into triple figures.
Around 20.
bought : 1
sold: 0
Don't ask Tony, he'd be here all week...
I've not been here that long, don't think I'm at even 10,it just doesn't feel right regardless of the price I seem to get quite attached to them
bought: 3
sold: 0
None.
Ask me in a couple of years, by which time at the rate I'm going I'll have 100+ watches. But I tend to be more of a hoarder, hence my house full of art, airguns, ceramics, tools, etc etc.
Probably 30-40
I make it 42 - according to the count on my TZ blog
That's the reason I started recording them there

20 purchases of which 11 have moved on.
Does being a flipper make you dealer
Well over 200.
I've settled down massively recently, built up a lovely collection of Seiko and even a few Swiss goodies.
Sadly most of my flips were essential which is a horrible position to be in, but a little more stable these days financially.
I`ve kept a collection of around 20, mostly vintage Omegas, for the past several years, with a few more modern incomings and outgoings. Probably bought and sold about 7 or 8 on here, I don`t keep count. Definitely not a flipper in the truest sense, a decision to sell is not taken lightly.

Not been here long, but probably 40 in last 3 - 4 years. Most come and go very quickly. Some are bought 2 - 3 times. A lucky few stay the course.
Should add ... Most not bought / sold through SC, and almost all sold for a loss, in some cases quite significant losses.
Just one so far, I try to limit myself to owning 5 or 6 watches at a time and change no more than one or two of those each year. I think thats only because I have more pressing demands on any disposable income I currently have. Remove that limitation and I could up that to flipping one a month i'm sure.
Easily a hundred. Probably more like 120.
I've stopped though.
I fear I'm in triple figures but I've settled down now (honest)!
Sure it's that few? I feel like I've *bought* more than that off you. I can think of 2 zenos and 4 other explorer style watches you've flipped just off the top of my head, as well as a brace of tiger big-crown types... (I think I've noticed particularly as I'm often tempted by your >37mm sale posts)
Probably about 30....Im settled now though, ive reached what I personally consider the top with my current financial means.
I reckon somewhere between 25 and 30 which over the 8 years of membership I don't think is too bad averaging 3-4 a year? I try to keep my watches to a maximum of 5 at any one time and don't flip for flipping sake but with the pull of SC there's inevitably always something of interest to tempt but I do try to think through which one will go if I decide to buy. Like most of us I could buy a load more but having only the one wrist I like wearing them on I do buy to wear as opposed to collect.
Keeps me off the streets though and I can't believe I've already done 8 years on here. Seems like yesterday!
Bought 2, sold 3.
Not too bad for me - four sold, two gifted. Shit, just did some maths, financially quite a loss.
My net change in watch numbers has been about +16 per year since I joined here. Doesn't sound so bad that way.
I flipped about 50 watches until now. But it's getting better and better.
It's nice the see that i'm not alone who suffer from flipperitis.
Only sold 8. Four of which felt like I'd made a mistake. Greatest regret was the 2 line sub that I part'exd for a DSSD.
In a stalemate now as can't afford any more without flipping. Just can't bring myself to part with what I've got.
Lost count. At least 50 a year. (Starts self loathing now).
I've bought maybe 30 from SC. The thing I don't like to think about is buying new (because I've got to have it NOW) and then having to take a big hit on SC a couple of months later, I've done that more times than I'd like to think about.
Sounds pretty much the same as me - same length of membership, similar number of watches. Average length of ownership across 5 watches is about 8-years, but that's only because I've got a CWC that I've had for 30 years.
I'd have bought and sold a few more if I had had the funds to do so. Not having them means I have to buy very carefully, not sell on a whim, and try to gradually upgrade, so having started with two Seikos and two Revue Thommens, I've now got a Rolex, an Omega, a Fortis, a Casio, and the old (non-working) CWC. Still a few Grails to chase but hard to find the money to buy them without sacrificing everything I have now, which I'm not yet willing to do. So I'm pretty happy with the current collection.
Down to 14 or which 3 will possibly move on soon.
69 have gone so far according to the spreadsheet....
Been on here nearly 3 years, maybe bought and sold 20 watches always at a loss. Its been fun
I hate to imagine how many I've flipped over the years. I blame a bit of OCD....well that's my excuse.
For a while I kept a list of everything I have bought, but last updated it a couple of years ago. At that point I was over 215, of which I still have about 20. That goes back to 2000. I've only been here since 2010, so maybe a quarter of that total has occurred since then, as I flipped a lot more in the early days.
God, I hope not. It would make me the world's worst business man.
Around 45 in and 25 out over 11 years.
Not toooo bad I guess...

Over 100, but well under 200.

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Way too many and cracking watches to boot!!
I can't believe how fluid some peoples collections are in this thread, I'd struggle to keep track and accidentally end up with 2 identical versions of the same watch.
From SC, 4 in 1 out but I'm to sentimental and find it hard to sell..
Oh make that 5 in just bought another and first vintage diver..
