Dont know if you've skied St. Anton previously but it remains to this day my favourite ski resort. There's a black run that goes from the top down into the town that has everything, powder, moguls, extremely steep sections, low cloud and zero visibility etc. As a boarder it beat the hell out of me every time but the moment you got to the bottom it was turn around and do it all over again.

Enjoy, I've missed a snow holiday this year for various reasons but looking forward to next year.

    Anyone Going Away For Easter?

I'm going away on Friday and coming back on Sunday. I may come back again some time in the future.

First time at St Anton, we normally go to Italy, but fancied a change. Looking forward to the apres ski in St Anton ;)

I was told by a few people, make sure you get a place that transfers from Male by sea plane, we chose

https://atmosphere-kanifushi.com/ Just seemed perfect for us.

My Wife and I had the same problem and eventually settled on Kuredu Island, which turned out to be perfect. 40 minute seaplane transfer, plenty of space and very relaxing, well worth checking out.

When we went 3 years back we had a few criteria:

    -House reef
    -Watervillas
    -Small island

Then we narrowed it down further by budget and full-board (we didn't want the hassle of not knowing what was included or wasn't so we wanted it all in). Transfers weren't that much of an issue for us, as we figured we had flown all that way what was another flight, I seem to remember we took a very short flight and then a speedboat.

We used purelymaldives who were great at helping us choose and booking it.

Good spot, we were told that due to the Tsunami a few years ago the reef was damaged. All the Coral was grey, however there was still plenty of fish about.

They told us that in Mauritius a few years ago too, but others suggested it was due to fishing practices...

Magpie, typical tourist trap. Try the Quayside........best in the U K.

No it's still closed. Everywhere else is back to normal though (apart form Alex's favourite Blue Bicycle).

As for going away, Centre Parcs Sherwood next weekend for me and the family.

Brian > Whitby Fish and Chips, surely it's got to be Hadley's!

    Surviving so far!

This thread is making me feel a tad homesick. Agree with the comment regarding Magpie Cafe, if we were in Whitby I think that we would be heading for The Fisherman's Wife but it's as much about the view as the food.

    Lovely place.
Nyhaven is great. Just round corner from hotel. Tivoli is closed until 6th April. Really enjoying first trip to Copenhagen
