    Seem to remember it going up way over inflation last year too. I think it was the football rights that they decided to spread the costs over the family packs etc - not very fair!

    VirginMedia have done this to me two years running now, can't remember what the first hike was but the latest one was £4 a month. I had it in my 'to do' list for months to switch but it seems everyone else either gives crap packages or puts their prices up to...

    Just had a letter from Sky proclaiming their increased quality and fantastic programming......... and an increase of £5.75 roughly 7.5% on my bill. At least they are going to save themselves the cost of a stamp from now on, I'm out.

    At least they tried to justify it! (or so it sounds...), VirginMedia's letter on the subject simply said: 'Your bill is going up £4 a month, thanks.'
