Seem to remember it going up way over inflation last year too. I think it was the football rights that they decided to spread the costs over the family packs etc - not very fair!

VirginMedia have done this to me two years running now, can't remember what the first hike was but the latest one was £4 a month. I had it in my 'to do' list for months to switch but it seems everyone else either gives crap packages or puts their prices up to...
Glad I've still got 11 months to think about this.
Just had a letter from Sky proclaiming their increased quality and fantastic programming......... and an increase of £5.75 roughly 7.5% on my bill. At least they are going to save themselves the cost of a stamp from now on, I'm out.
At least they tried to justify it! (or so it sounds...), VirginMedia's letter on the subject simply said: 'Your bill is going up £4 a month, thanks.'
