    A lot of great actors mentioned already, I also like;

Cuba Gooding jr: from men of honour to snow dogs!
    Steve Buscemi
Steven Graham: one of our finest and from Leicester 👍
Jeffrey wright: also from boardwalk but saw him in a few things now and has impressed
Brian Cransron: from malcolm in the middle to breaking bad, blew my mind! A great character actor.

Have to say Tom Hanks is for me the greatest actor and made some truly amazing films.

    Ben Kingsley
    Denzil Washington
    Sydney Poitier
These + Daniel Day Lewis. Also Helena Bonham Carter who seems bonkers but has played a fair few roles

Robert Carlyle is pretty good given the right material, can do thoroughly likeable (full monty, Carla's song) to convincingly psycopathic (Begby in Trainspotting), just ignore the awful Bond villain appearance

Now, I'm not a fan of the adult Leonardo DiCaprio at all -BUT his performance as an autistic child in 'What's eating Gilbert Grape?' Is fantastic. I've spent some time amongst Autistic children - and he just nails it. Incredible, but I can't stand him in anything else!!

    Interestingly, just watched "Burnt".

Bradley Cooper - pretty boy turned into great actor
Uma Thurman - pretty girl turned into great actress
Sienna Miller - same - who'd have thought she'd have such a storming second act to her career (also great in Foxcatcher and American Sniper)?
Daniel Bruhl - as mentioned previously, brilliant in all he does
Matthew Rhys - very versatile - first time I've seen him play a native Brit
Emma Thompson - worthy of all the praise she gets

    All superb.

The film - absolutely shocking! So many cliches, such clumsily broad strokes, but can't blame the cinemotography (the locations, actors and food look beautiful), and I'm not sure the director's at fault. It just goes to show that you really can't polish a turd - even with so much talent, such an average result.
