    I suspect some creations from the some where like the "homage forum" have leaked out...
    Last I looked they went to great lengths to recreate vintage Pams...

    Did you read it? I think it's more the case of re-hashing original parts, with the exception of the 618 conversion plates.

    Not an expert - but if the original parts are Rolex - then the last time I looked at the "homage forum" the high end "artisans / fakers" were using vintage Rolex, Cortebert, Angelus, and Molnija movements, rolex crowns, soldering lugs, reshaping cases, custom cnc parts etc, etc. Plus weathered dials, not your $60 Asian Parnis clones. Using reference images to copy vintage pieces...

    I think the "italian homage" board is now hidden to non members but if you look within popular posts you will find some scarily good DIY work [amongst a lot of chaff]...

    I'm a member there so aware of what's available but the blog is on a different level imo.
