I need to get one of these out of my system, with that exact dial
Basel was a bit of a letdown for me, and from all the recent new models there's not much I'm enthusiastic about. The only one I'm seriously considering as a potential purchase is the Meister Driver Handaufzug: http://www.junghans.de/en/junghans-c...el/detail.html
Lovely size, 'vintage' but not tacky, thin, plexi glass and a rather nice Peseux 7001. And it doesn't cost a fortune.
What would be your potential new watch? Are there any new models that sparkle your 'I need this' thoughts these days?
Cheers,
Christian

Not a new model but I saw this in the flesh for the 1st time yesterday and fell in love (strap version). A bit pricey for me, but maybe one day.

Nothing at the minute.
I've gone a bit 'meh' with the watches of late.
I think I'm just pretty happy with what I've got.
The upcoming NTH sub homages being touted over at WUS in the affordable section are looking like an interesting prospect.
New Explorer.
PAM00512, or PAM00574, or PAM620
Just can't decide between hand / auto wind and indices/numeral colour.
Luckily I won't have to bore the forum with a "what PAM?" thread as an adult I've learned how to make my own decisions ;)
That Junghans is certainly very appealing and one of the best from Basel. Lowering the bar from 'watches I must have' - as there weren't any this year - to 'watches I'd quite like to try on and possibly wait for them to appear used some time later', the Tudor Black Bay 36 on steel was the only one that got my attention. It looks good in wrist shots in the thread on it - casual, fun, and wearable. But only seeing one for real will confirm that.
The Oyster Perpetual 39 in grey keeps looking at me. A slightly oversized (on me) shiny new Rolex is not really my style, I much prefer vintage in general, and I'm resisting the temptation - but it's there for some reason. Probably none of the above and a nice AP14790 if I find one for a sensible price, they've gone a bit crazy lately.
Not a must have, but a Speedmaster is a certainty next, probably early next year to be honest as I am committed elsewhere at the moment, and I do really like the CK2998 shown this year.. Whether it surpasses a regular Moonwatch or a Transitional (which are getting expensive) is yet to be seen, but I'd love to try one on.
Have a few incoming but the next BNIB will be this one,
That Junghans is very classy. They don't sell many, and people don't buy 'em to flip 'em, so it would have to be a new one. This is a problem though, as I'm sworn off buying new watches!
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
I have a Grand Seiko SBGX063 en route.
Still very excited by the Tudor Black Bay Bronze. Hoping to grab one in T5 sometime soon...
And the new ceramic Daytona of course, if I could find the cash (not that that will be a problem for some time, evidently )

Possibly this.

The jury is still out on the new Speedmaster Moon Phase, although I have decided that I will do nothing until I see one in the flesh, despite the best attempts of ADs to get you to put a deposit down. I am still on the hunt for a Snoopy and despite offering a good price in WTB it seems that people would rather part with their kids first before letting the Snoopy go - so the hunt goes on.

The chap that started "My little modest>>" will be responsible for my next Panerai!
I limit myself to one new watch a year, this year my plan is just to update my Omega PO 8500 to the latest model (but only when I can get a decent discount).
Just ordered one of these as a grab & go quartz...

Since I can't get a Daytona, I think I will get a VC OS Chromo LOL
I've already paid for this watch. I am going to be hugely pissed if Omega screws the pooch (like on the Snoopy LE watch) and I don't get one.
(not my photo)
Not seen that Junghans before, but rather taken by it.
My next brand new watch is likely to be this one, it's been on order since early February.

Just waiting for the call, saying that it is ready.
The upcoming Sewills (in blue) for me.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
Nothing for me, the only thing that gets close is a Grand Seiko but I'll only buy one s/h.
"A man of little significance"
I'd like to grab a Black Bay Black before the movement/style change but I'm running out of time and I don't currently have the means, very frustrating!
I can't think of a new watch that I would like.
Some nice designs but the only ones I like are too big for my taste as my preference is for 35/36mm.
OK, sorry to go on about size again - and I do keep trying to get along with larger watches but I invariably end up flipping them and going back to what feels right for me. My current daily wearer is a ZEX bought new at the beginning of the month.
Probably one of these.......
........... because of this.........

Just ordered a Limited edition Stowa Marine Original Blue
Tudor Black Bay Heritage 36?
http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...ay-Heritage-36
I ordered it from an AD here in the USA a day after it was announced. I know the OBs are saying that they are the only place to get one but that is not what Omega told the dealer when he called and asked to order one for me. Omega stated if I paid in full and ordered that day I would definitely get a watch.
We shall see...
I desperately need a dive watch in my life, so most likely a Squale

Hoping a Pam 372, followed my Seamaster although not sure which model. Have also found some cheap JeanRichard Terrascopes from a grey dealer which could be a good price.
On topic: most interesting is the new Rolex explorer as 39mm seems a sweet spot for me. Need to see in flesh though. Martyn.

me too
Still need to try a SK009, think it will be next.
Aye, that's quite true Ralph. After quite a few months of deliberating I don't think I can get rid of most of my group, maybe just the Damaskos and the Voyager. Ironically it's the lower value watches that would be hardest to replace if I wanted to. However those three would make a decent start towards the cost of a Dornbluth. I think the 60th idea may need to be reconsidered, just have to make do with cycling up Alpe d'Huez again!

Hopefully this Zenith is next.
Counting down the days/months till it arrives at the AD :)
A moonwatch in September for my 50th. Then either a Navitimer 01, Rolex blnr or JLC master geographic.
Me too. Assuming nothing comes up meantime...
I should be receiving a Speedy Tintin very shortly but as that's been coming
, not coming, arriving and being the wrong watch, not coming and now coming again it hardly feels like a new watch.
So... What's been playing on my mind all week is.... A GS diver or SBGA029 to be precise
(Though a SBGE001 would be tempting too)
SRP773 incoming, picture borrowed from the internet.
