Ooh, only 40mm
I've got to share my new toy!!
A week or so ago I bid on an unusual Seiko I've never seen before (not a UK model I presume).
It was described as a Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, but now it's arrived I've realised it's also an alarm watch with pointer-date and retrograde day dial.
I almost cancelled my bid because the more I thought about it the more it reminded me of my Seiko Flightmaster Solar, but now it's on my wrist I just can't stop looking at it!
RRP is in the region of £300, but Creation Watches have them up at £118 at the moment. It's not a Prospex or anything high end, but for a little over a ton it's a fantastic bit of kit - how they cram so many functions into such a good looking watch I've no idea, I usually expect this from my Citizens but they are generally big and ugly.
The price of mine from e.bay? £50. Fifty. Quid. I was the opening bidder and no-one else bothered with it.
Fair enough it's only a Seiko, but come on, these should be being hoovered up for fun!

Congratulations! You got a bargain. They usually go for more than the Creation price on eBay.
If I'd seen that one I'd have grabbed it. ;-)
Amazing bargain!
Anyone else immediately go to eBay and search for one as well in the hopes of also snagging a deal?
Hi Kev, funny seeing this thread as I dusted mine off on Monday and have worn it all week so far.
I bought mine the silver dial version from Creation some time ago, as you say it's a cracking piece of kit for the money and has the added benefit of an alarm which is always handy. Makes yours doubly good value!
Edited to add the leap year function is pretty cool as well, not that I need to know when I get the extra second!
