Has anybody tried ordering anything from Eddie recently?

I've been trying to make a TF order for a couple of weeks recently, but still, when adding an item to the cart, still get the message that Eddie's wife is poorly, and the site is still closed.

This evening, I got an email, as I guess, did other members, advising me that new items were available to order from stock, giving links to the site, yet on clicking the links, I'm still getting the site closed message when cicking the 'add to basket' button.

I've tried refreshing both the full and mobile sites, and clearing my cache, both on phone and laptop, but it makes no difference. Is it me, or is anybody else having the same problem?

Normally opens in the morning following a closure.

Same here. The PRS-18Q is showing as available on the site with a load of Ralphy's nice photographs, but when trying to order it goes to the Christmas closure message. I suspect that it's a temporary glitch.

Eddie’s store is usually open Tuesday to Thursday, I would try again in the morning. Given the recent weeks of closure and the release of the COSC PRS-18Q, I wouldn’t be surprised if he closes early to deal with the influx of orders he will receive.

out of interest, does anyone know which figure is right regarding the battery life? movement spec says 68months and write up says 56. either way is a win.

For anyone who has one already - dimensions are similar - would you say it wears much bigger than a Sub?

As this seems to be the thread about ordering one, can I ask for those that have bought new from Eddie what’s the timescale for delivery, I don’t want to pm him as I’m sure he will be busy today

5 or 6 digit Sub? Either way, it does wear bigger than a Sub but not offensively so. The bezel is only 39mm but the case is a good 3mm larger.

Just buy it and try it. I'm sure you'll have no problem selling it if it doesn't work for you.

It depends how many orders Eddie has to deal with. However an order placed with Eddie is usually dispatched in double quick time.

    Order placed!

Tried to order a rally strap the other day only to find it was closed. Saw this thread and now it's sorted. Nice one.

Thanks. I think I’ll be in the first batch based on order time. Hopefully.

    My PRS18Q arrived this morning.

I have to shoot out, so pics later, but it's a cracker as expected.

I asked Eddie on Tuesday after I ordered mine and he said it's 68 months.
