What a great thread!
This is definitely the only PVD coated 5402 on here...
Pretty sure this is the only Zenith Daytona with a ceramic bezel (although soon to be returned to stock)...
I know Kash bought a 3712 after I got mine as we compared the differences in the dials but I think this is the only one left on the forum...
My original Datograph certainly isn’t unique as I know Raffe has one but I bought this before purchasing mine to see if I liked the look and haven’t seen another of these here...
I know one or two had them but I’m not sure if this is the only Panerai 687 left on here?
I think Granitequarry has a black dial vintage Blandford Squale with an orange and black bezel like the first one I bought but I’m not sure anyone else on here has the blue dial and bezel version?
And finally whilst we’re on the subject of watches with bakelite bezels, I know this isn’t the only 6542 on here as Haywood Milton has one and I think I’ve seen another too but given their age, they’re all unique and I can’t resist...
All the best,
Paul
Sticking my head out as a total noob, but can't imagine there are too many of these kicking-around in the UK:
Has a date in 1937 scratched on the movement. Keeps remarkably good time still, too.

There are some really nice watches on this read. Jason's Wittenaur and Matthew's Mareoscope being two that stick in the mind.
I agree with what Neil.C said earlier, the cheaper end of the vintage market is a good source of rarely seen watches. Not sure I have seen any of mine on here except my PRS-29a and G10. Here are a couple:
And perhaps the cheapest of all:

I'd respectfully suggest it's not a translation of the advert which is required, more that you should focus on the four alpha-numeric characters displayed on the top two watches themselves.

Possibly Blue Buckley with correct white hands?
A few more of mine that I've not seen on the forum....
Zeno Date Pointer
Zeno Magellano
Zeno New Pilot COSC

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Pretty sure I've the only one of these:
And probably this:
And I think this:
And this:
Definitely this:
This:
Almost certainly this:
Probably this:
And I think a few got one of these initially but am I the only one to have kept mine?
What does it say about my taste that nobody else buys what I buy?! A fool? Or just unique?
I don't think I have seen either of these on the forum:
Maurice Lacroix Cinq Aiguilles
Longines Flagship Heritage Chronograph in 18ct rose gold

Making this one more unique than any other I'd say! I wondered if anyone would spot it.
I had forgotten he'd posted this! Yes the very same, though it's passed through another pair of hands before reaching me. I love it though. Not going anywhere any time soon.

Anyone have one of these? Gub cal 28.1 from the 50’s. Subject of an interesting Hodinkee article:

Picture is in the post above the text. Was impressed that I managed to post an image. Image and text in the same post will require more training for me!

That's not what it says though.
The same date is shown on the other model too
Or have I missed a poorly judged 'joke' by someone?

Yes .

I’ve never seen another one of these...

I’ve never seen another Lum-Tec M50 on the forum. Anyone else got one?

The first Grand Seiko, Jan 1962.
This is called the first Grand Seiko, but the first ones were engraved. They had issues with dials chipping and breaking though, so after losing money they decided to put a gold Grand Seiko on the dials.
So this is a second version of the first.
2005 Fortis B-42 Official Cosmonaut Chronograph - Limited Edition with the Lemania 5100 movement in a titanium case. Very comfortable to wear, highly legible (someone I know who has one rates it better than his Sinn EZM1) and full functionality including day/date makes it the perfect holiday / adventure watch. I use it to time yacht race starts and help with navigation, or remind me what day of the week it is, 3 days into a ski holiday...
In the 11-12 years since I started looking for one (I bought this 10 years ago from a forum member) I've seen only 10-12 for sale. The last one I know of on this forum belonged to Sweets, who sold it on years ago. I'm not aware of any other owners here, though I sometimes trade emails with another owner on Watchuseek.
We are getting the band back together!

I would hazard there are not too many of these about - though I recall a forum member’s son owns one.
I’ve seen a few of the SBDW005 variants around in the Friday threads but this the limited edition, ceramic version. Apparently even the applied logo is ceramic.

I have to say the bracelet is growing on me. I normally wear it on a Seiko canvas strap but felt like a change and popped it on the bracelet. It feels solid but not heavy. My only gripe is that the clasp and ratcheting mechanism is titanium like the SBDW005. I can see why they’ve opted to do that but it’s a very abrupt departure from the look and feel of the ceramic. The watch itself is just a toolish marvel otherwise and I’m in awe of the fine details etched into the ceramic bezel.

I dont know if this is the only one on here...not seen one recently ish though...i would like the black dialed chrono one too.
Aren't too many of these still running these days.
Very hard to find. Took me many years of looking. Though recently I did find another for a chap over on WUS.
Tacky AF but rare. Only one so far to come to light. Probably out of shame...
Much more common, but I haven't seen another WW2 RLM issued Wagner hereabouts?
The Longines is from 1911/12 so fairly thin on the ground.
Not seen another one of these on here.
I stand open to be corrected.

Bulova Accu Swiss Murren.
A legacy of Bulova's failed attempt to drive the brand up market several years back. Can be picked up now for a song but features surprisingly crisp case finishing, great dial and a decent Sellita Mechanical Chrono movement.
Aerowatch '1942' automatic:
Of these 4 I'd say the UG only has another owner on the forum (Mark020 I believe)
The Montiler is the most elusive but I'm pleased to say that I now have a spare. I certainly believe I'm the only person to have the set and, goodness knows, it took me long enough.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Easy! Here's two (2!) Smiths "Mk X" made in Cheltenham in WW2 for the RAF
Case is a Dennison 13322, fixed bars
Movement is a forerunner of the Smiths "1215" (12''' and 15 jewels) with a 13''' baseplate and hole for centre seconds (as was the original intention)
I believe that 11 of these are known to exist: 9 subseconds, 2 centre seconds. Two are marked (i.e. issue engravings, 6B xxxx/42 for 1942)
Cheers!

Plenty of steel ones, but...
Not sure whether or not this is unique here on TZ but I do not come across many of these 60's Zeniths with the date at 6 and sunburst dial.
For sure the only one here: MKII's Tornek Rayville. Bill Yao owns the brand name. (How did this slip under Blancpain's radar????).
About 10 yrs ago he did a run of 9 hand-built watches. Mine is #1. Sold by 'invite only'
My pics are held hostage by Photobucket, so here's a pic from MKII's own collection (of my watch)
