    I'm thinking of going for the Tuna S23629J1 & I'd appreciate some advice;
    All the photos I've seen make it look very big, all the reviews I've read say it's not as big as the paper dimensions would suggest.
    In the real world, what's it like? For context I'm tall with a 7.75" wrist & I'm used to big watches (Gshock & a James Cameron are the biggest) so I can carry off a big watch within reason.
    Additionally I've seen photos of Tunas with the day displayed in Japanese kanji. I know Seiko day wheels are usually in English & A. N. Other language but the kanji are a very neat touch.
    Many thanks for any advice,

    You'll be fine with that size wrist/what you are wearing at the minute. My wrists are around 6.75 and I wear the 300m tunas no probs, fit well and comfortable.
    As for the kanji day wheel, I asked the question in one of the new tuna threads, I believe the S23629J1(ie. Uk) won't be kanji. The sbbn jdm version i assume will have a kanji day wheel so maybe look to source one of those if its a deal breaker.

    That's spot on.

    It's the SBBN045 that has the Kanji day wheel.

    I wonder if the day wheel can be swapped?
    I tried the discount code for Goldsmiths but they're not allowing it for Seiko.

    That's strange, it works for me, following the link from the voucher cloud site. This is the code I used: VCLOUD1548RTDSNW3
    I didn't go to the payment page, but it worked at the checkout.

    By the time you’ve done that it might be cheaper and easier to order the JDM version from Gnomon or Seiya. Not sure exactly much it would work out at with VAT etc but the Gnomon price plus 20% works out at about £1250 so likely to be similar to the U.K. RRP
