Yes, he will have to complete a CN23 customs form stating the contents and value etc of the parcel. When he prints a shipping label from the courier website (for example DHL in this case) the customs form will pop up automatically and can be completed online. Bear in mind that you will be paying VAT (and some fees) based on the value stated on the customs form, so you have to add that to price you agreed with the seller. Hope this helps.

VAT on second hand goods?

Yes, another Brexit benefit. I’m expecting a VAT bill & customs/admin fees in due course.

I checked out the numbers on the back of this watch & it is dated 1970. Not bad for a 50+ year old watch. I’m always a bit nervous buying new old stock like this. Is it something that was bought new & was then returned early on because of an issue? The seller said that everything worked & that it kept good time, & so it has proved to be so far. Happy days.
