Speedy today, sporting its Christmas Forstner Komfit strap. Very comfortable, I must say, but a bit of a faff to fasten/unfasten. I guess I'll get used to it.

Quick update on the thread a couple of days ago, I was told today that the list for Skydwellers is closed- no new ‘expressions of interest’ being accepted.

It wears well. I hadn’t appreciated the bezel function and how to set the full calendar, but very pleased with it.

That is a beauty in gold. The strap is handmade in suede by a UK seller on E-Bay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255297886...Bk9SR57GiYmxYQ

I also have the green one for an incoming 1964 Accutron. Good quality for the money IMO.

I'm due for either a Black SkyDweller or a BLRO next. I'm ticked for the "any bracelet" option to get it quicker but I think the Oyster suits it more. It's bling enough anyway, doesn't need the jubilee IMO but sod's law means I'll probably get the jubilee now. The blue looks lovely and is definitely pick of the litter.

Thanks! Review of literally the same watch here:

I bought it from Chris (chrisrennie) via Sales Corner in June. I think I gave him £70 for it or something like that. The video does a better job of capturing the colour of the dial than my pic.

Today has been such a whirlwind that I took this over twelve hours ago and only managed to post it now. Anyway a tasty bit of Seiko Advan.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Doing some late evening preparation for my footy reporting tomorrow...one of the best teams in the country, Leyton Orient, against Doncaster.
Not often I'm at a game so very excited and sporting something colourful to reflect my mood.

Thanks Tony, it’s actually a 97200. I didn’t have the bottle to brush the original bracelet!

I’ve been deciding what to do pretty much since I saw yours and ended up going this way.

It looks a hundred times better (IMO). I'll be getting mine done when I return to the UK in the summer.
