Love the Damasko at the top of the page - the quintessential Damasko watch, a 66 with a 12-hour bezel and a MkII dial.

    Literally just arrived -

It still ticks along at plus 4 seconds a day, whatever orientation, with a perfectly straight trace on the timegrapher, earning its dial claims.

Lots of speculation over who actually made Bucherers watches, including (naturally, given their relationship) Rolex, but also VC and others. Not sure who made this dial, but they did a superb job.

    The case is interesting too:

    Outer case:

    Inner case:

They are held together by two eccentric bolts (removed in this photo) that fit into the inner case recess, and which grab the slots in the outer case

After an aborted sale attempt, I’ve switched this from the silicone and ginormous clasp back to the original tegimented bracelet.

    Feels like a new watch

This just arrived, purchased from Dr.F of this Parish.

Lovely little vintage Edox. I put it on a mesh because I prefer a metal strap, don't think it looks out of place.

Timegrapher says it is running at +8spd, which is pretty good considering it's closing on 50 years old.

Getting one of its rather rare outings today - splash of colour on a sunny January day! (...and the wrong sodding date, which I only notice after I've uploaded it!)

Should probably rehome this one TBH...

Sorry. Probably shouldn't need to ask, as sure this will have been answered elsewhere.

Is this the Mission to Mercury? The case looks much darker than the one on the Swatch site. Nice!

    Lovely on that strap 😀

1950 14ct rose gold Omega Seamaster bumper automatic with refinished dial and genuine Omega replacement handset. Water resistant to 3 bar, suitable for careful everyday wear and easy to refinish if it picks up a scratch or two. Who says vintage watches aren`t practical?

Owned this since 1996, a smart watch in the true sense of the word!

Yep, it's the Mercury. Pic probably makes the case look slightly darker - in reality it's closer to the same shade of grey as the dial.

And thanks, it's the NATO from the Newmark 6BB which seems to suit so many watches..
