Doesn’t get much wrist time anymore, but an old favourite.

Sorry, only just saw this. Few quid shy of eight hundred to include a new crystal and it took nine weeks.

Hmm, I get similar feelings about the Blancpain Barakuda,

I have found that out to my cost!

How much is a new Rainbow chrono these days? I know which I would rather have.

    Cheers,

Lovely, I owned the three hand version many moons ago, a quite affordable in-house movement watch it was back then.

The watch year book around the turn of the century described Zenith as 'that little giant of a company'

But that was before the takeover.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

I've been looking more and more at these, a really great looking watch in my eyes. I think one of these could be my "exit" watch but looking on chrono 24 etc it looks like not many come up for sale.

I just had a look on chrono24 and could only find 2 for sale.

I picked this up in a trade many moons ago, not the best financial decision as I traded my 14270 explorer for it and a year later had to spend £600+ on a full service.

I will trade you for a 14270 if you have one, lol.

I've just had a look and I'm afraid I don't have one unfortunately . Yours is a lovely looking example though. Off to chrono 24 I go.

Can someone explain why watches in Japan seem to be £1000-1500 cheaper than those in Europe?

Obviously you need to factor in VAT, delivery and handling charges, that said it’s the same if you buy in Europe now.

So in short, no I don’t have the definitive answer. Sorry.

Even before that vote we dare not speak of watches were cheaper in Europe than the UK.

Well. Got a deal on on Chrono24. I did look at the fauxtina version but with non rotating bezel, no second hand (only chrono hand), plexi-glass and cannot operate pushers under water - seemed not such a great watch. But I can see the appeal. Can be found on chrono24
