Just reading about over ear headphones. According to What Hifi:

I know nothing about these as I dont use them.
My mother would like a set and comfort is the key priority. Noise cancelling etc is not needed as she is unlikely to use them outside the house.
Hifi quality again is not vital as she simply wants to use them when she meditates.
Any recommendations please.
Budget up to £100
thanks

I’ve got some JBL wireless noise cancelling headphones that sound great for the price.
Beyerdynamic dt770
Sennheiser HD 450BTs would be worth checking out. All the Sennheisers I’ve owned have been very comfortable and sounded excellent. I’ve got a couple of higher end wired pairs that I’ve had for over 20 years and still going strong.
Has anyone tried the Powerbeats Pro?

I've had a pair for years. Great headphones. Around £90 on amazon.
You could do a lot worse than a pair of AKG N60NC's - award winners back in 2016 but still superb cans that are nice and light to wear. (Yes, I use them and they're faultless.)
The best under £100 are the Grado SR60 and they would compare to higher priced models. As a former audio dealer, compared to Sennheiser, B&W, Bose, they were unmatched for the price.
Great, thanks for your replies all, I will make a shortlist and take her shopping
No experience of them, but Soundcore Q30 gets good reviews and are only £60 on amazon at the moment as there's 25% off
I bought some Anker sound core Q20 and they are much better they should be for the price.
I tend to WFH 5 days a week when I can, alas my wife gets every 2nd Friday off and ANC is a godsend from her mumbling, talking to herself, or the cat! It’s why I hate the office, it’s just more people talking crap - I lose half the day from distractions.

LOL thanks all. I got confused by the over and on ear, but my mum seems to like the over ear now and I think the ANC will be a game changer for her, as her hearing is poor anyway
1more sonoflow.
Brilliant, and way under that price.
Can recommend AKGas a superb quality product.Mine are old but going strong.
