Yep. It's just one of those things you put up with. I used to live "behind the wire" on military bases. Didn't really matter if you left your car or front door unlocked, it was great. Now even if I'm in my garage, I don't like leaving the door up in case someone from the road scopes out something they might want to come back and nick. I'd move out but my wife works in central London and doesn't want to commute further than zone 5.
