Brings new meaning to the expression 'spending a penny'… or 5 in his case. Hope he's alright. If he gets tummy ache then it's straight off to A&E, but at least you'll know what the problem is.

When our son was about 6 months old he suddenly went off breast milk - he just wouldn't latch on properly and was all mizzly, but no signs of any illness.

It was only 3 days later he happened to yawn and I spotted something. He had a stick-on googly eye from some soft toy or other, stuck to the roof of his mouth, which explained why he couldn't get a good nipple purchase.

We couldn't believe it had stuck all that time and hadn't choked him. Still have no idea how it got there because we didn't give him toys and he wasn't crawling then.
