    Please recommend a service/repairer

Hi.. I have a problem with my Breitling Blackbird. The watch winds, the chrono runs and resets properly and the date turns over as it should from the winder, but the winder doesn't seem to want to come out far enough to adjust the hour and minute hands, and I don't want to try and force it. The previous owner had an £800 service done at Goldsmiths 18 months ago which annoyingly only had a 12 month warranty.... Obviously don't want to go back there so grateful for any suggestions. As always many thanks in advance for any help.

When did Breitling stop doing 2-year warranty? I'm sure my old Aerospace had 24 months warranty after its service.

I'm assuming Goldsmiths doesn't do its own servicing?

The receipt for £797 was from Goldsmiths dated August 2022 and states a 12 month warranty..... sadly.... from this I am assuming that Goldsmiths do their own servicing or possibly farm it out to a sub contractor, pay him/her and put a mark up on when they charge the customer.

Agreed - the watch guy is almost half that price but parts extra... we will see what the final bill runs out at...
