Love my Leatherman Signal but not so keen on the part serrated blade. I know you can straight swap this with the blade from a Wave Plus but does anybody know where I can actually buy one from (just the balde not the full Wave Plus). Just to make it a bit more difficult I need the blade to be black.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers all.

Thanks mate I'll start there👍
If all else fails you could always have the blade reprofiled.
Why not send it back to Leatherman. These multi tools have a lifetime guarantee.
Did you buy the replacement blade from Whitby & Co?
Nope, it's coming from Ali Express so I'll see what it's like when it arrives. I've sent a message to Whitby so if they have a Wave plus blade I'll buy that as well then decide.
Excellent. Let us know how you get on with Whitby please.
Also might be worth trying this chap for repairs/mods/parts,

Just a quick update. Whitby & Co have come back stating that they don't have any spares they can sell me but can fix it under warranty. Will wait to see what the one from Ali is like.
That's interesting. Some time ago I was in contact with Whitby & Co and if I read it correctly the UK distibution of Leatherman products was going to Germany whilst they were still going to be doing UK service and repairs.
This thread got me thinking, I’ve had Gerber mini tools for the last 12 years. Both were the Bear Grylls version and both gave way on using the pliers part but I never even thought about claiming under warranty until now.
I contacted Gerber about both with proof of purchase from Amazon and they are replacing both for free I didn’t know they have a 25 year warranty.
As they no longer sell the Bear Grylls version I think they are sending me the Dime version .
One purchased in 2013 and the other in 2016 BTW.
Happy days.

Whitby & Co are excellent for leatherman warranty issues but they won’t repair older models, rather they just replace them with a current model instead. This is fine but they say they can’t return the old damaged model if you take the replacement, so no good if it has any sentimental attachment.
