Thread: 6159-7010 Tuna shroud screw options?

    6159-7010 Tuna shroud screw options?

Evening TZ collective. Has anyone got any advice on sourcing shroud screws for a 6159-7010 Grandfather Tuna?

My Tuna has one good original Ti screw, 1original not so good and 2 wrong-uns!

Im under no illusion about finding originals but what are the alternatives? Do any of the later Tuna variant screws fit, or are there any good aftermarket options out there?

    Thanks all

They are very distinctive vintage shroud screws. In titanium as you said.

Would a set of steel Philips style screws do the job?

Thanks David, possibly. The wrong-uns are philips screws with pointed ends rather than flat!

Fyi the original 6159 tuna screws were supposedly hand made, maybe slitted manually.

Youre right David, Bry has made a kind offer to help me 😁. Very cool as the 6159-7010 is one i want to wear regularly so hopefully Brys help and a service will get me there. FYI it was your 7549 that started my Tuna journey
