Personally I wouldn’t wear a 30m watch swimming, but it might be fine.

Seem's a very bold gamble especially if you jump or dive into the pool but you never know until you try...I was advised by one microbrand, I'd enquired about a 5 atm watch, that regular, extended swimming wouldn't be a good idea, though the watch might survive an accidental dunking. Just fwiw.
