OK, OK, so you don't clean the hob, but I do, pass it on to the wife then. :D
Instead of using a cloth or paper towel to apply the hob cleaning jollop I use the edge of a small piece of wood about 16mm wide, more pressure ya know.
And no it don'e scratch the hob.
Well, that's enough of this nonsence...back to the hoovering. :D

This would be what we in the colonies call a ceramic range. Usually with four burners. Usually easy to clean but if something is really burnt it can take a lot of elbow grease to remove the burnt stuff. The wood sounds like a good idea. And yes I am the Hob cleaner.
