The crown can't be made out of bronze but a steel crown can be bronze plated (or maybe bronze PVD?). I've been thinking about a black PVD crown if it can't be bronze but I'm not sure if that would be right.

Not sure it would look right with black Eddie... perhaps someone clever could photoshop.Originally Posted by swanbourne
How about titanium? I know it may increase the cost a little, but imo bronze and titanium look cool togetherOriginally Posted by swanbourne

those are very very nice images. lovely case shape, lovely hands. everything just looks so right. the 'P' on the caseback is a very nice bit of typography.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Bronze and steel would look ok if you ask me (bronze and titanium even better).

A genuine croc strap would ad 110-120 euros to the price, leather croc grain much less.

And, if I remember correctly, you couldn't sell them in the States. Restrictions on endangered species.
Wow...great idea of a very cool watch.
If it is ever getting real IŽll take one :)
And for the crown...bronze PVD plated should work perfectly

Looks great, any rough idea of what the price would be when this comes out?
I'd definitely be interested in that one!
Stunning - is there a release date?
I definitely want one too. Sign me up please Eddie :)
I'll be in too!
Fantastic bit of design!

Eddie, sign me up and tell me when you want payment. It will be the perfect companion piece for the Italian.
Wow...whats the latest on this? I want to buy one now
I love this as well, i actaully prefered it with the original crown guard as seen in the original design on page 1 :blackeye: I also liked the seconds sub dial
Also like a sweeping second hand, not sure if its quartz though.
Me too! Can anyone help with the estimated release date for this one??Originally Posted by dicky8588
Thanks,

When i read through the whole thread i got the opinion that is was on the cards but not neccessarily a go-er at the moment!

Move the date if you like but keep the second hand. With my health I need to take my pulse often to see if I'm still alive. ;)
Add a small seconds at the 6 actually instead of the 'VI'
Well, if this would still be made in two sizes (as indicated long, long ago...) I would vote for no seconds hands on the quartz version. Being relatively small wristed I think that the large dial size would drive me to the smaller of the two models.Originally Posted by swanbourne
This recent design is really nice. As long as the size is right and I am paying attention to the quartz vs auto topic... Gorgeous case but a watch that bold should be not too large but not small either.
Perfect the way it is! Can't wait. I'm up for the auto model.
No 22 please Eddie :)
Agreed.Originally Posted by michaelh

Really like the idea of these cases, I'm hoping it'll happen...
...1 day? :)
I like it and I particularly like the crown guards - makes it stand out from the rest
That looks fantastic. Excellent rendering and the presence of a seconds hand is very useful, imho.

AP is right about the seconds markers, adds that finishing touch
Ten votes for the two handed version. A really classic watch that adds something to what is out there. Awesome effort.
So long as the L-2-L is less than 48mm, I will get one - quartz or mechanical. Simply wonderful looking watch.
Any updates on this one Eddie.
Just stumbled across this after following on a link in watch talk.
This is looking great, as long as the design doesn't change much from the latest set of pictures put up, I'd be happy to have number 27.
Love the case design in Brass, another classic Eddie...

Don't worry, in about a year, Eddie will mention that he might have a strap ready for this, but with no pics. Cue another 30 pages of discussion ;-)
Happy waiting

This one looks also great. It's my first day in this forum and there are three new watches on my list....damn... ;)
I wonder how the PRS-30 is coming along... :-)

Reviving an old thread, mostly because I think this is a very cool watch.
Earlier in the thread someone asked if the lugs were going to remain a pointed and sharp. I could not find an answer. Will they remain as drawn? They look like they may be uncomfortable.
As a newcomer I have only just seen this. I'd get one, no question.Originally Posted by swanbourne

Thanks, interesting.
Bronze patination bears thinking about. Apparently NAB goes dark brown.
