We've all seen "real men" shaving with knives in films but here's somebody doing it with a knife he sharpened himself. No fancy shaving soap either!

Heh. My kitchen knives are always sharp enough to shave with. No one will touch them. They are too scared to. Works for me. Less honing required.

No. Lots of vintage Thiers Issard carbon steel and a single Chef au Ritz carbon steel. Large range in size from a 4" paring knife up the monster 14.5" blade on the Chef au Ritz.

I manned up and tried a safety razor once, still have the scar on my cheek, sold the whole kit on the sales side that day.
