    Wemple Waranty

    Gents,

    I recently acquired a 233 and I can't take it off my wrist :)

    The watch was originally purchased from Wempe in London.

    I noticed the paperwork Wempe has a "3 Years Warranty" in oppose to the standard 2 years from Panerai.

    Has experiences or has anyone had their watch serviced during the "in between" 2-3 year period.

    Service shouldn't be needed in the first 2-3 year period so that's of no benefit.

    Given the hassle some of the earlier 233's presented to their owners, warranty for an extra year would be great, but afaik, carried it's out by Wempe in house, not Panerai (RIS).

    Thanks Shadow.

    It's not the servicing but I'm a little nervous about the movement as its an I-Series.

    I hear alot of people have had issues with the stuck PR.

    The first 2 years are Manufacturer warranty and the 3rd year is the additional Wempe warranty. I guess any issues in the 3rd year would be fixed by Wempe.
