I woke up this morning and was faced by a bit of a dilemma.
Looked at the bedside table and was greeted with these:
I didn't know which one to wear :?
Sat there for a few minutes thinking about it and decided on the Doxa, then changed my mind and decided on the Seiko, then changed my mind again and decided on this:
So how do you guy's decide which watch to wear?
wake up, scratch my balls, have a coffee and then decide

Whim, pure and simple. If I'm at home I'll often change during the day as well.

If I'm doing something manual, it's one of the beaters, if I'm out to a black tie do it's a dress watch, otherwise just whatever takes my fancy.

Me too,but if I'm just relaxing at home I'll change my watch once, twice, maybe three times during the day.I do like watches.
Good choice.
Depends on what I'm up to that day. If something likely to damage a watch, I'll wear a beater. If a smart occasion, then not a sports/diver/rugged. If not, then even if I fancy wearing a beater, I'll save it for when I'm going to "require" one and I'll wear something I don't want to smash.
I also have a spreadsheet to manage a watch rota so I only wear particular beaters in any one month. The idea was to stop me switching between watches several times a day as I have too many. It kinda works but sometimes I just think "Sod it!" I think a simpler option is to flip a few which I will be doing in 2010 when I can be bothered to sort out what I want to get rid of.
A spreadsheet !! lolOriginally Posted by shadowninja

This is an easy one. Buy yourself a Rolex non date and you will just be drawn to it each day.

Hi all, I'me quite new for this forum and this topic seems to be the best one to present myself, starting from "the mornings". Usually when I wake up I still wear a watch so the first question is: "will I wear this all day long?" The answer is always "no, today I'll have to do this" and " I'll meet this and that" my watch choice depends on my daily program! But also the clohtes I'm going to wear influence the chioce of the wristwatch ( becouse I still haven't I pocket one :| )
Please don't tempt me any more  - I'm resisting the urge to buy an ND Sub. :?Originally Posted by taffytoon
I too am sometimes torn between several options but one usually "calls" a bit louder than the rest and it's often one I haven't worn for a week or so which wins , it's like putting on a new watch again. :)
I usually make up my mind before I open the watchbox or look at my 4 watch winder.
If I wait too long and have to choose looking at them it makes me mad!
I know. Welcome to WISaholic's Anonymous. ;)Originally Posted by dickybow

I generally decide in the shower - or if I haven't worn a watch in a while I'll think about it - or if I see soem great shots on here and I own the watch - I might take it out for an outing :)
It's just a matter of time...
Peasy at the mo - I go for my Fortis MM unless I'm working on my bike then I pop on a beater.

Depends on what I'm doing that day - for work I use my old Timex triathlon
i own 2 watches , so it's not that hard to decide !
