Skating away on the thin ice of a new day
I use to have one of these with the blue face, reluctantly sold it and have regretted it since. Great watch, classic and practical!
Lovely :)
I nearly ended up with one of those when I went to buy my Speedmaster.
Looks great in the photo's...so if your saying it's "Sooooo much nicer in the flesh" then you've gotta be delighted with your choice.
Congratulations and thanks for taking the time to post the pics. :)
I likes it 8)
Super watch & congratulations. Can I ask if this is a new or pre-owned example, fantastic condition if it is and great pictures also.
Cheers.
Congrats, it looks like it's in lovely condition (you don't say if it's new) :)
This model has been on my "should I, shouldn't I" list for far too long
Thanks guys.
I got it pre-owned (but not worn much by the looks of it) from Neil at Chronomaster and the warranty card was stamped by Ernest Jones in July 2009 so I guesse it was sold as new then.
These have been discontinued for a while though so it was probably NOS in reality.
It is in mint condition, as described by Neil with all books, papers, cards and boxes.
I got a good deal especially when you still see them on offer for anywhere between £1,800 - £2,500 for NOS.
I'm well chuffed and can't wait to get the bracelet sized as it is HUGE!!!! I've even had to pad out the cushion on my winder to make it fit!
Going to the AD early next week I hope as I still have a new PO on order and am waiting for that so I'll get it sized then!
Looks lovely Neil, good choice
I am not a fan of modern Omegas.
Love vintage Seamasters and have a couple in the collection.
However that I like Neil. :bounce:
Very nice.
MMMMMMMMMMMMM
Very, very nice... and congratulations.
Neil at Chronomaster is one of the good guys.
Enjoy it!
Stunning Neil. One of my fave Omegas.
Is this one a keeper though?

Great example of what Omega can produce - and one of the few Chronographs that can be operated underwater - what a great deal :D :D :D
(how much of a deposit will secure it in advance of the post on SC   )

Ta lads, appreciated :D
As for a deposit for if I sell? How about £1,000 non refundable if I decide not to sell?
Thats delightful!!!!
Very nice indeed, fantastic pics 8)

Congratulations!
That is my favorite Omega chrono. I´d take it over the Speedmaster any day.
Those buttons are lovely buttery smooth to handle. At least they were on my 3133.

That´s a nice looking watch, and great pictures too.
Nice one Neil.
Certainly fits all your criteria and is a nice piece IMO.
Hope it's a keeper (for a while anyway ..........)
Great watch. One of those I look at & fancy then wander off to look at another & forget it. Well done!

GOT...TO...KILL...CAPTAIN STUPID!
Is it a new model ? I could not find it on the Omega website... wanted to find out some more info on it...
Really nice.. looks a extremely solid watch :)
Nice One :)
I had the same watch in Ti and its one of the very few that i would like to own again 8) The size of the watch was just perfect for me.
Enjoy :)

Nice timepiece.
I just love tri-compax layouts on chronographs. The proportions of these SMP chronos is so nice as well.
If only the Breitling B01 wasn't so ugly i'd flip my Chronomat in a flash!
