Received today from HappyJack all the way from Oz................fantastic piece in excellent condition. Changed strap to a Toshi for added effect!!

It's a Fortis B42 Fleiger. Bought recently from Browners on SC. Head-on, the hands look black, but from the right angle.....That is a great looking watch. What model is that?Looks good on the Toshi.

There are a few for sale on watchuseek forum if you're a member. From a chap who spends a lot of time on the Fortis section and seems like a good egg - might be worth checking out?
I was selling my Pilot's Pro Chrono because i just couldn't get it on the right strap! Tried leather, velcro, bracelet, just didn't gel with me. Gutted to sell it, but wasn't wearing it - then stuck it on a Bond NATO just for giggles and it was a revelation! I love it now and it's my daily wearer. You can't go wrong for price, quality, heritage etc. and i'll not be selling mine in any hurry now. Sorry about the photo quality, but you get the idea.

Congratlations. I saw HappyJack had that up for sale but could not justify another Fortis right now. Very nice watch from a good source.
I've always liked the B-42 range, classy, substantial, understated and very well made
