Here you go: my 18Q on a Lumpy and a Monster with modded dial but that doesn't affect its size. The 18 on the bracelet is a fair weight and wears about equally with the Monster. I note I didn't straighten the 18's bezel to 12. Oh well.
Hi,
Does anyone have a comparison shot of the PRS-18 next to a seiko monster?
I'm itching to get a PRS-18 but want to make sure it isn't too small. If it's on a par with the monster i'm sold
Thanks in advance

Nice comparison pic, reminds me yet again why I like my '18 so much 8)
Thanks,
Looks perfect. Just need to sell a couple of others to fund it.
I've got the same dial on my monster. Different hands though.
Thanks again
I'm always a bit surprised at the reputation of the 'monster' - it's really not that big, having owned an 18Q and a BM in the past, I think the 18 actually wore a little larger because of the height.
Maybe, now watch fashion has swung to a larger case size it's time we renamed it the 'Seiko tiddler'
I have an "18" and just got a Yokobies modded Monster. I once had a Seiko 007
and liked its width and bulk. For some reason I expected the Monster to be
a big bulky 44mm; it's actually a pretty compact 42mm.
I'm selling my 18Q on SC if anyone's interested.
Anyone have insight on when more auto movements may be available for the PRS-18s?
Thanks,
Chris
look's perfect
Would these be different 18s with auto movement than the 18 autos currently available through the site?Originally Posted by Darkman
