+1 on the 40mm as soon as I find a credit card (with room)
Platts never disappoints so the offering will be fantastic for the price. Now just to get a shopping list of straps to throw in on the order...

Just ordered one of the new PRS-27 Smiths Big Date in 40mm just can't wait for it to arrive now.

it looks absolutely great, congrats to eddie and all the lucky buyers
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Yes also had to add a couple of straps to the order, namely a black aviator and black rally for starters.
+1 40mm. I thought it would come in around £130. Bargain :thumbright:
Yup I was well happy with the price, means I can get a few straps with the extra I was thinking of spending.
Just waiting for final approval from SHMBO
Mines ordered.
Now, just the wait.
Martin.
Ordered the pair :)
Mine's been dispatched which is a good feeling. I love inbound.

I'm always intrigued on feedback from forums where the new release is heavily scrutinized --- too big,
too small, don't like hands, don't like name....etc.
Yet the same gents have a strong collection of mass produced, run of the mill watches.
Odd to me..... I see each PRS as a collection of research and various avenues of input. Attention to detail
for quality and practicality. And of course a finished product and extras that are more than fair in terms
of price.
is it just me or are some people completely nuts...?
John (nuts.....and wearing my PRS5 today)
Who's ordered one? Too many people for me to ship them all today :( .
Eddie
Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
In that case, extra special thanks for shipping my PRS-18A today! :DOriginally Posted by swanbourne
I have. Couldn't resist at that price. :) If it helps, I am travelling Tue/Wed this week, so won't be at home to receive any earlier than Thur. Feel free to put me at the back of the order fulfillment queue.Originally Posted by swanbourne
Hey all, when the parcels start arriving, I guess I probably don't need to ask for some pics to get posted Can't wait to see them and then hopefully get one :P
You live in Sheffield. Have a wander over and pick one up...
I've just ordered mine.
No rush for delivery.

I'm sure Mrs E gets preferential treatment being a Post Mistress
Eddie wouldn't appreciate that... 8)Originally Posted by Glamdring

I ordered the PRS 50B early afternoon yesterday.
But, since Eddie is busy posting all the PRS 27`s, I might have to wait a bit longer than usual to get my hands on it. Damn you all.....
Cheers, Mick
Mine came, looks great and in a nice single watch zip holder. Thinner than I anticipated. I'm going to have to try it on the red strap but not just yet.
Sorry, no pics just yet.
Eddie, why's it called the 27B?

I had my dispatch confirmation e-mail today. Excited at the prospect.
This is the start of a slippery slope.
Looking at straps now too, do like the look of the Ostrich grain with the white stitching.
I just looked on the Timefactors website this morning, didnt realise this was available!
Yesterday I spent what was left in my watch fund on another Lum-Tec, A LumZilla!!! which has arrived and I love it
Heres a couple of quick pics :)
Anyway, Eddies keeping that price til' the end of Feb, so I will get one before then 8)

Well 018/10 arrived today and I can only reitterate what I've read about the quality of Eddie's products.
From the order, packinging, case etc - amazing quality for £99 - the first 200 should run away.
The Volvo 1800 I owned had a lovely array of Smith's guages - so in some way, a slightly nostalgic feeling for the watch.
15A & 15B arrived today.
All appears ok, thank you Eddie.
They are now tucked away until 14 Feb, when I will present 15A to the Mrs.
Cheers
Peter
I like it too. Not one I'd wear, but I do like the look of it.Originally Posted by rsykes2000
