Ah, now i can get back into the strap changing again!

Well, after selling the Panerai's to fund the AP i have to admit i was missing changing straps for different occasions and so on, but after tracking down a conversion kit (special thanks to Luke) for the AP i can now start all over again, plus i have to admit i do prefer a nice bit of leather :D

I am, but it was just too much watch for my wrist, you can still see the mark that the crown protector dug into my wrist in those photos :(

Hah its a pam-scar. I can't believe its still there.

BTW putting it on leather doesn't make it a pam :)

Loving the AP though, Its one of the few classy chronos around!!

Looks great, any hint on where you got the conversion kit? The price of the AP bands one put me off.

It's the AP bands one, i got the conversion kit, buckle and two straps off ebay, not a bad price and it was all brand new.

It's just a case of waiting until one becomes available, not an easy thing to find cheap unfortunately, i just priced what i got and it would have been £650 without even adding on the postage and VAT/Import tax

Yeah, if you keep an eye out on timezone.com in the sales area you can sometimes find them going cheap, or on ebay by searching either 'ap bands' or 'audemars strap' and so on, i finally got lucky after being pointed to that one, i missed it initially as the guy had it under 'bracelets'

I like bracelets on certain watches, and whilst i'm not an AP admirer, that looks massively better on a strap 8)

The bracelet is nice to wear as it fits nicely, but i've always been a bit uncomfortable in bracelets over time, so the strap certainly ticks the right boxes for me, especially in summer. Now what i need to do is find a nice nubuck style AP strap :D
