This do? this is the watch that started it all for me. My Dad bought it new in 1969 somewhere in the Lebanon, and it's been mine for about 15 years. It's the cheapest of all my watches, and the only one i'd run back into a burning building for! It's had one service in its life and keeps good time still!

Great to have a watch with such a history. Good looking watch to boot.

Yes it’s a Chronosport Periscope automatic fitted with an AS1876 movement. It was purchased in Canada around the mid to late 70’s

As I understand that this is the real deal, could we have some more info about how it landed with your familiy in the UK, please? I find these background stories very interesting. Some more pics inside and out would be great. What a fantastic watch to own, especially with a family history connected to it.
