Good looking piece.
Great value for money as well.
Cheers,

Picked this Longines Hydroconquest up yesterday and am a very happy man indeedy!
I had tried the blue version maybe 18 months ago and for some reason not really liked it. I don't know whether it was the size, the colour or what - it may have even been an older version if the current model is a refresh - who knows. All I know is when I saw the black bezel/dial version fairly recently I knew I wanted one!
Fit and finish is really good, bracelet is very nice and very comfortable, dial is clear and very easy to read, lume is good (although not as bright or longlasting as some) and bezel is nice and solid. End pieces of the links seem ever so slightly loose in the lugs and it would be nice if the clasp had a push button as well but that's just being picky.
All in, generally impressed.
Good looking piece.

Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
These do look very nice... how much if you don't mind me asking?
I really like this one, enjoy!

Jon M - the RRP is £670 I think. I am the at least the third owner (and possibly more although you couldn't tell from the condition) and found it in SC for a very reasonable price indeed!
These are good vfm watches. I'm a bit surpirised that you say the end pieces are loose in the lugs, they are drum tight on mine.
Tried one of these on in Kingston and was very impressed with the apparent quality (I preferred the blue  )
I wasn't sure about the prices and it was one of those dealers that wouldn't even contemplate a discount so I never took it any further. Great modern looking watch - good catch I reckon :thumbright:
Looks very nice :) ......enjoy
Great watch, it is really growing on me..
Yeah there's definitely some movement in them - don't know if it's something that just happens with time, but there's definitely movement, almost like you might get with a hollow or folded end link that's deformed slightly. Can't say I'm totally bothered tbh.Originally Posted by stifflersmom

Thanks
awesome lume and classic look - PERFECT!

Great piece, congrats 8)

Lovely looking watches these and I've been mulling over getting a blue one for about a year. :)
Thats such a nice watch....have been eyeing that one as well myself...hmmm, might have to get it now...anyway, enjoy!
:D Nice, very good looking dive watch with cool lume.
Cheers guys
The full specs can be found here but basically it's 41mm excluding crown, about 12 or 13mm thick, 21mm lugs, all SS, ETA 2824/2, coated Sapphire and 300m WR - seems like a lot of watch for the cash (although I know you can get basically the same spec and probably quality from other, lesser known makers for less money).Originally Posted by Sartorial
I also think the cause of the loose end links is down to bent spring bars so will hopefully get that sorted out soon enough!
The perfect all purpose watch, with great heft and presence, although perhaps not for the skinny wristed.
I really like that!
Hmmmmm I wasn't planning on getting another watch for a while. If one were to come up in the SC for decent money then I may have to go for it
