Fantastic Steve - I know exactly what you mean about the Blacksteel needing a matching deployment. The Breitling Ocean Racer strap is the most comfortable I've worn.
Big fan of the Seiko kinetics too.
Excellent taste :thumbleft:
Two recent acquisitions which by coincidence happend to be Blacksteel. When I heard that Breitling were now producing/selling the Ocean Racer Clasp in Black Steel I just knew I had to get a Skyland Blacksteel Avenger again. I was never keen on the regular rubber and blackseel buckle for such a hefty watch. Collected/Fitted the Black Steel Ocean Racer clasp on Thursday and now the watch is complete IMHO.
Next Up.... When Sanjay decided that two Marine Masters was perhaps a little too much I was only to glad to take this one off his Hands..... It's the Black metal Titanium Seiko MM SBDD003 Direct Drive Kinetic. I have been surprised how much I like this watch, despite it's size (46mm+), it's surprisingly comfortable and the watch looks stunning on the wrist. Excellent Lume and a real high quality feel for the money, it even makes the Breitling Skyland look small!
The obligatory fence post shot.....
Looks pretty good on the Red stitched kevlar too. (Picture by the previous owner)

Steve's back in the blacksteel game.....
I still have mine and i still have the ocean racer strap as well. Looks awesome and there are plenty of strap choices, although but i bet you flip it faster than John Terry can bed your girlfriend. :D

He can have her! .... If it means we can share the £250,000 pay off he's allegedly offered for the silence of various women. :Dwatch-nut: I still have mine and i still have the ocean racer strap as well. (Good job my girlfriend doesn't read this watch forum. :blackeye: )
Very nice, the blacksteel Avenger is very mean :)

The blacksteel is really a great looking watch.
yep... the Blacksteel is very smart... - I did not realise they had released the deployment for it as well...
another one added to the list.... (though the list is becoming very breitling centric!)
I love the Skyland :)
The Skyland is really great. Congratulation.
Great looking pair 8)
Now add an U1 White to that pair, and you have a very handsome trio :)
I can't get it of my wrist.
Cheers,
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Very cool... I'm liking these a lot!
Greg
Love the Breitling.

I really like the Seiko. Is it a regular production piece?
My understanding (although I am no expert on Seiko compared to some on here) is that it's regular production for the Japanese market only. This seems odd to me bearing in mind how popular dive watches are around the world? Fortunately the big instruction book that comes with it is in English as well as Japanese.Alessi156 Wrote: I really like the Seiko. Is it a regular production piece?
Here are some more pics for you of the Seiko....
Thanks for info. It's a shame it's not available here. I'm sure it would be popular outside of Japan!
Great pair, love the way it really tones down the Breitling :D
"I looked with pity not untinged with scorn upon these trivial-minded passers-by"
I only like Breitlings without the Bling, hence the brushed Blackbird and BlackSteel models are the only ones that really interest me. I cannot understand these people that get the big shiny models then stick diamonds in the bezel, can't think of anything worse. :?boddah wrote:Great pair, love the way it really tones down the Breitling
The Breitling looks realy mean. I like it ..
