The proper 'safe' way is electro stripping (reverse plating) - any platers should be able to do it for you. Otherwise just bead blast it off. 8)
Hi, does anyone know of a method to remove gold plate from, say, a vintage bracelet?
Is there any liquid that it can be dunked in or whatever?
Ta much.

I wouldn't recommend Muriatic acid!

The only acid that dissolves gold is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aqua_regia
Reverse plating would be better...
