Okay, first off, I know Richie (Toshi) well and if i thought he could have done this for me, i would have ordered it already. But he isn't going to go through all the aggravation of buying a whole Alligator skin just for me!
I want a very high spec Alligator skin watch strap making for me and so far I have contacted a couple of people. One cannot do it and the other - ABP Paris - have not got back to me yet despite an email on Tuesday last and a follow up on Thursday.
Does anyone have any suggestions? This needs to be a custom built affair - I have quite specific requirements and it is highly unlikely that I will find one "off the shelf".

What is the reason for not being able to use an off the shelf strap? I am guessing maybe it has an unusual fit to the case? If thats correct, you may be able to get an off the shelf strap modified to fit. I had a similar experience with a strap I made up for my Breitling Trans ocean. I had to sort a strap which required a notch cut out of it, and in the end I did it myself, but you could always see if one of the custom strap guys on here would cut a notch for you if its the same sort of fitting issue
Here is mine - maybe it will help explain what I mean.
The lug end is curved, bit of a bugger really and the Importers/main distributors aren't being helpful!

By 'excellent', I meant that I consider it a very good price for the service.
