Great watches and even better group shots!
Nice one Jon. Enjoy tonight :thumbleft:
Whilst getting everything together for the local meet tonight (details here for anyone who's missed it: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=120454) I thought I'd snap a few shots of the collection as of May 2010. Turns out everything was on a nato which made for a cool shot I thought :)
From left to right:
Seiko 7002
Precista PRS-50A
Seiko 6005
Smiths PRS-29B
Doxa 1000T Pro
Sinn U1
Rolex SeaDweller
Omega Seamaster
Seiko MarineMaster
Love them all (at the moment) and they all get wrist time :D
Great watches and even better group shots!
Nice one Jon. Enjoy tonight :thumbleft:
Fantastic shots as usual Jon, I think a wee PRS14 would fit in there perfectly, perhaps complete a fantastic collection
Cheers

Some great pieces there Jon, and that nato group-shot is very 8) .
Very diver orientated as well :)
Cheers,
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
I did have a PRS-14 a while back now and was on the fence about buying a new one earlier in the week... I sold it the first time around as I'm a date man (gotta have a date on a watch) but the Smiths is lovely without so perhaps I may give non-dates a go again.Originally Posted by WORKSIMON
Very diver orientated, yes... just love divers with the look and the bezel really. Odd one out is the Smiths ;)
Great collection and as for the pics... inspired composition there 8)

Wonderful collections..you're very fortunate.....I'm really beginning to have an attraction for the PRS-50a/b ...one will have to be my next purchase
Not a fan of NATOs then...
Nice watches Jon, looking forward to checking them out later tonight!
Mark
loving the doxa
That's a great collection, the U1 and MM300 on natos rock :headbang:
That's a really nice collection.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
Lovely, lovely collection there Jon , health to wear, an wear an wear .................................................. ........!! :salute:
:D Nice group, cool photo, I would happily own all bar 3 of those but especially the U1 or Marine master.
Which 3 would you ditch out of interest? :)Originally Posted by dutchgray

Very nice collection. We share a similar taste, I have had 5 watches from your collection at some point or another. Yet to get a Sinn diver, a doxa and a PRS50
Great group 8)

I take it that you like sport watches! LOL
You certainly have a great looking collection of sport watches.
nice collection there Jon the orange Doxa is a real eye catcher i've only ever
owned one but must get another one day 8)
The one that caught my eye was your latest - the PRS29B. It looks just great on its black NATO and somehow looks a cut above in the group shot taken at a distance. Lovely.

I've just noticed too Martin. It's the only one without a bezel. Sorry if it 'has' a bezel, but I think you know what I mean. What I am trying to say is it looks really really clean next to the others.Originally Posted by MartinCRC
Being on the Nato's and the black background have made for some great group shots 8). As the Smiths is the odd one out, I'll take that off your hands for you :).
Nice groupie Jon :thumbright:
I didn't realise that you had some of those. Definitely dive-city then and really novel to see everything on a NATO
FWIW I always enjoy the opportunity to meet up, so I hope you all had grand old time of it last night.
GREAT collection!!! :)
Bests,
Krit
Great shots as always J.
I know you've sold a fair few, but that's still a cracking collection.

A superb collection beautifully photographed!! Only one weak (Doxa-shaped) link to my eye.
Having said that I think we ought to have a whip round to buy Jon some decent straps!
D.
I guess you like Divers then! :-) Question - why no rubber straps?
YesOriginally Posted by MPH2OSkier
Answer - simply because they all happened to be on Nato's yesterday, I wear them all on a variety of straps, bracelets and natosOriginally Posted by MPH2OSkier
YHPM for the 2nd on the left :D
How does the SD on the NATO wear? Does is it seat too high? I have used a Speedie on a RAF, and the head was a bit bouncing (I wear it loose). I wonder whether a NATO could fix this (I think so) but what would be the total thickness of the watch (I'm fine with 50B, wouldn't go any further)?
Has the Boschett left the collection Jon?
It has indeed... went a while ago.. FANTASTIC watch but seriously way too big for me!Originally Posted by GregR
