The last couple of days moving around the forum and the various threads has become slow for me. When I click on the 'most recent post' icon, the thread opens but I must wait a good 4 or 5 seconds for the latest post to appear; same when I go back to the previous page, or to a different sub-forum.
During this delay there is a time bar at the bottom of the page (I'm using Firefox) and there is the message 'connecting to www3.addfreestats.com'. Could someone please tell me what this is all about?

It doesn't seem too bad for me, I haven't noticed it being especially slow anyway.
The 'www3.addfreestats.com' is to track the website stats - visitor numbers etc.
I can't imagine that's the reason it's going slow.
Very slow today at home and work particularly before the index page.

Firefox always seems to speed things up!
