Stradale is nice, Maser is nice, GTO is nice, but the Abarth 204A blows them all away.
Also close runners - Porsches 356, 550, 928, Lotuses Elite and Eleven, and I do love the Alfa SZ, and the Lancia 037, but they are more functional than truly beautiful.
My dream car is a series 3 E-Type a real stunner. But my vote goes to the Daytona California.

Not sure if it's the most beautiful but it's probably the most iconic sports car ever produced. I'm sure it's been on more walls than any other car ever and even though it is completely outclassed by newer vehicles it still looks the business and pulls the petrolhead strings in a way no other car has yet to match.
For those of us with a few more years under their belt, I can think of 2 cars that are far more deserving of that accolade, one has already been mentioned (the original Ford GT40), the other being the 427 Cobra, it isn't classically beautiful, hence why no one has mentioned it yet, but as icons go, they don't come any better.

Two things about this, the thread we're in concerns the "most beautiful" and not the best, and this list is a load of rubbish, the RS4 is a saloon and the Zonda, arguably a supercar, it's quite random. Impossible to say really, it's like asking what's your favourite watch or album, it just depends on your mood.
Having said all that this stunning Zagato Alfa is very high up the list.

Alfa Tipo 33 is pretty staggering but I can't help feeling that the 8C Competizione is by far the most beautiful car I have had the pleasure of seeing. That car is just something else. I think I even like the spyder version too.

I believe there are more than a couple of owners on here and at least one RSR which is the 964 variant I would go for or the turbo II 8)
In terms of looks the sublime 904 is pretty hard to beat.

Yes it is Steve Mcqueen & Yes it is a XK SS, though it is related to the D type which is also very beautiful. :)
