    Just bought another gold Casio to give away and the shop owner commented they are flying out of the shop; very fashionable in vogue version of the most basic utilitarian watch ever.

    He had problems with the conceot of 'quality' too as he lóves the far 'better' made Omegas/Tissots which he sells too but commented that objectively looking at it the base Casios are better quality in the sense that they perfectly hit the mark and have a failure rate hard to beat.

    I think I am going buy at least one more: for myself :mrgreen:

    As others have suggested a Seiko Diver would be a good baptism into automatic watches without forking out too much.

    An Orange Monster was my first.

    :lol: Funny and tragic at the same time.

    Funny because it sounds outlandish.

    Tragic because of what has occured in Finland (Germany et al) and also tragic because that is exactly what governments do as a knee jerk reflex; missing the point and banning inanimate objects because of what lunatics use them for.
